Shefali Patel, owner of Caked by Shef in Coppell, is serving up some spooky sweets on Season 9 of Food Network's Halloween Baking Championship. Patel, along with 11 other bakers, is competing in this popular seasonal show in 'thriller' and 'killer' baking challenges, hoping to woo Food Network personalities Carla Hall, Zac Young and Stephanie Boswell. This season, hosted by comedian John Henson, takes place at the fictional Henson & Sons Carnival, where bakers are tasked with helping Henson bring the carnival back to life.
