Here are five thoughts from Week 6 of the 2023 Texas high school football season: Upsets in District 6-6A Perhaps the biggest surprise of the night was Coppell's 49-28 upset of Lewisville, last season's District 6-6A champion. Coppell outscored Lewisville 21-0 in the second quarter to take a 28-7 lead at halftime. Despite a late surge from Lewisville that saw it score 21 points across the third and fourth quarters, Coppell also scored 21 points in the second half to join Flower Mound Marcus in District 6-6A's undefeated club.
